Headlights flickering, cause?

Driving on highway last night, it was very cold. lights started flickering like crazy, embarrassing since everybody assumes you are flashing them

I've had this occur randomly since updating to 2018.50.5. It seems to happen mostly when you initially power on the car, or start driving. Somewhat annoying but not the end of the world, hopefully it'll get fixed in the next update.

It's a little disconcerting but yes, the Service Center already confirmed to me it's a known issue and will be resolved with an update.

Confirmed, I had Mobile Service drop by today and the tech confirmed that it's a known issue and that engineering is working on a fix. He said it's the daytime running lights (the lights above the headlight) that are flickering, not the actual headlight, so that's good to know since it means the headlights will always be working even if the daytime lamps are flickering.

Up in PA on road trip and first time flickering occurred... 12* outside. Have not had this issue down in VA where it’s a bit warmer.

I was heading into work the other day on the QEW into downtown Toronto. Looked in my side mirror when i saw flickering lights. Knew it was another Model 3 on 50.6. lol
