I live in the northeast. Growing up my dad always waited till the engine heated up before driving(not sure if this actually makes a difference). I did the same for years... I leave the house 5 mins early to give myself the time to heat the car (waiting for the RPM's to go below 1000). I have been still doing that with the Tesla for the past 3 months out of habit. Today was the first day I slept in extra 5 mins. I know this might not be a big deal for everyone but extra 5 mins of sleep = the biggest win for me =).
