Help! nema 14-50 extension cord through wall to avoid rats

Not sure if was suggested already, but have you checked out electronic pest repellents? I have a few of those plugged in around the house. Seem to be working...

If that's a concern, you can always put a dowel or something to plug the hole. I use three cats.

In case anyone is interested, here was the final solution. $35 box from home depot with a nema 14-50 pigtail wired in...works great so far.
