Indeed...957XX was registered on Aug 10 per @model3vins twitter guessing mine is built after Aug 10 as assuming new builds can use older VINs while not vice versa.

I have been to Richmond, VA Tesla service center and noticed quite a few model 3s. They have a wide range of VINs in 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s range. All of them have either July or Aug manufacture date. For ex: a car with 67XXX is manufactured in July where as another one with 52xxx manufactured in Aug. I am going to stop worrying about VIN#s and just focus on making sure that I prepare well for the inspection at delivery of my Red M3 LR AWD.

Just was told my P3+ vin is going to be 1062xx. That's the highest I've seen yet.

I got my VIN on Friday 8/24, delivery currently scheduled for this Thursday: 965xx. Blue AWD non-performance with white interior. I waited in line to reserve in person 3/31/16, ordered 6/27/18 and changed to white interior when it became available for my regular AWD on 7/23.

Took delivery of VIN 993xx today at Fremont. It is a Midnight Silver Metallic AWD (non-P) with White interior. There were about 30 3's sitting in the parking lot of the delivery center along with a smattering of S's. Ours was the only 3 with white interior there.
Car looked and drove fabulously on the 100+ mile trip home.
