Interesting article. The post-war years were a particularly lucrative time for automobile dealers. The economy and the automotive industry caught fire together as the Greatest Generation returned home. There were no standard prices for new cars, which were in great demand. The starting price was whatever the dealer decided. A different world from the one we know today when any credit union can show a consumer the dealer's cost of a vehicle to the penny.

A resonable person would want one because it is supposed to show what equipment the car was built with. It should be shown on the Tesla Build/buy site but is not. So if you buy a Tesla S model online, your left clueless about what features the car has. Like ventilated seats in the 2021, back seat monitor, acoustic laminated glass (but which windows are/are not laminated?) and noise cancelation. So the real question is, why would anybody buy a Tesla online with no Monroney window sticker, which is required by Fed Law? No sticker.....your buying a pig in a poke. Roll the dice and pray.
