How do the seats in Plaid vs LR compare?

My wife and I are having a friendly debate:

Are the seats in the MSLR and the MXP the same (aside from the piping on the plaid seats)?

My wife swears that the seats in the Plaid X are much more comfortable than the seats in the MSLR.

They feel exactly the same to me - but I’m generally oblivious to things.

I have a plaid MS and my wife has a refresh MXLR, the seats are the same.

They are the same, but perhaps one may be "worn in" a bit more. Do the two seats have roughly the same hours of seat time? I also assume you are comparing your two 2023 cars and not your 2021 car, which is likely different (although not dramatically different).

Yeah. Both are brand new 2023s with under 1k miles on them.

Yes they are the same, suggesting your butt-o-meter might require recalibration. This is quite normal. After a year I noticed that my plaid acceleration rush seemed reduced. Tesla service explained that such things occur over time and can be addressed by their mobile service. Oh yea it’s not covered by warranty. I’d explain what they do but I’m restricted by NDA. Wouldn’t want the competition to get details!
