How To Stop Software Update at “Install” Phase

Hi,

I currently have 2022.24.5 and my Model X downloaded 2022.28.1 and currently in “Install” phase.

I have delayed the install at this point however would like to find out if there is a way for me to completely/cancel the install altogether. Currently I only have the option to delay it up to 24 hours and it seems that it will install automatically unless I keep changing the install time daily.

I prefer not to install 2022.28.1 because I have heard from many owners about having the high pitch whining/whistling sound after the 2022.24.8 update and it was not fixed after 2022.28.1 or .28.2.

Hi I managed to try to install then cancelled it within the 2 minute window. Since that point, I managed to click the X button on the upper left each time it prompted me to install so I could postpone it for several weeks.

I decided to install it recently and shortly after that I was prompted to update to .36.2 so I never had the humming noise from .28.1.
