I don't think I have lugs. Do you have a photo of what this would look like? I followed the directions for how much jacket to remove for the splice connectors, and used a Jokari tool. I used NoOx. Never saw any instructions mention lugs other than what is on the terminals already.

I did use a torque-wrench, and certain my torque is not too low.
