HPWC - What cable length?

Yeah I tried the geckos, wasn't helpful for me as one of my chargers I use the full length and putting the cable back on the geckos is more of a PITA than just coiling it.

Not shown in the picture is my daily use. I just loop the last 10 feet over the top of the HPWC because it is a PITA to hook them through the Geckos.

Nice insight here. I just got my Model 3 a couple of weeks ago and was looking at the length options for the Wall Connector cable. I'm leaning towards the 24' as I like to have some flexibility. As already stated, one can just wrap up the rest of the cable that isn't needed. Either cable length could work for me. There doesn't seem to be a compelling reason for me to get the 8.5' cable based on input here so I'm likely going with the 24' cable.

Another reason for the 24':

You might need that stall of your garage for temporary storage or some project. With the long cord, you can park in the driveway and still charge.

And if you decide to reverse park you can still reach the charger. I purposefully put mine between two stalls so no matter where or how I parked the 24' cable would reach.
