Huper Optik installer in So Cal?

I am reading all these ceramic tint comparisons of Huper Optik vs 3M Crystalline vs LLumar vs Suntek vs Winco and I’m confused. Everyone seems to say their tint is best for heat rejection. Some say 3M Crystalline color comes off. Some say Wincos are considered budget ceramic tints. Some say LLumar is not worth the money for what you pay. I believe Huper Optik ceramic (what’s the official name for their ceramic line ?) is unanimously the best option. According to the video test with BTUs, Huper seems to block the most heat.

Is there an installer in Orange County southern CA that owners can recommend? Or is there a better alternative for the money that doesn’t fade like 3M?

Now I’m confused. A shop said that they don’t carry 3M and prefer Llumar CTX.

He said that 3M buys most of their raw materials from Eastman. Eastman manufactures LLumar Window Film. LLumar Window Film is the largest window film manufacturer in the world. The CTX is not an IR window film like 3M Crystalline and Wincos. The CTX is a ceramic film and the Wincos and Crystalline is an IR window film.

I don’t understand IR vs Ceramic tint? Wouldn’t you want IR protection?

LLumar ATC - 99% UV Protection

50% - 26% heat rejection

35% - 35% heat rejection

20% - 41% heat rejection

15% - 44% heat rejection

05% - 47% heat rejection

LLumar CTX - 99% UV Protection

50% - 35% heat rejection

40% - 47% heat rejection

15% - 55% heat rejection

05% - 60% heat rejection

LLumar AIR - 99.9% UV Protection

80% - 43% heat rejection + 78%

Madico Wincos IR - 99% UV

60% - 44% heat rejection + 92% IR

45% - 49% heat rejection + 92% IR

30% - 53% heat rejection + 92% IR

20% - 57% heat rejection + 92% IR

10% - 64% heat rejection + 92% IR

It looks to me Winco is the winner because of the extra IR protection that Llumar doesn’t have?

Each shop will have their "preferred" brand. I went with some cheaper tints called DUB-IR (rebrand of a product called Pentagon?) and it's honestly good enough for me. I barely feel the heat when driving here in SoCal.

Perfect Window Tint in Santa Ana has Huper Optik. I got all my windows done including the windshield and sunroof. Price there was way cheaper then windowtintz, the only other place that carried Huper Optik

One bad thing though is that I have a few lint bubbles on the windows. I did some research and Huper Optik is thicker than most films so they are more prone to lint bubbles.

I’ve had two other cars tinted with Huper and they didn’t have lint bubbles. Unfortunately my Tesla did. I’m still deciding if I want to go back and complain. It doesn’t really bother me during driving. I really notice them while I’m cleaning my car.

Otherwise tint itself looks good from afar
