HWPC Red Light Issue - Model X No Longer Charging at Home

Monday - The X was charging fine.

Tuesday - I plugged the X in the garage as usual at around 40 miles

Wednesday - I woke up and it showed only 112 miles of range. Enough to get to work and back, so i didn't worry about it.
- Wednesday Night - The X notified me of a software update, so I thought that would correct the problem if there was one.
- I noticed a red light at the bottom of the usual green pulsing light during charging.
- I reset the HWPC and the red light went away. Tried charging again, but it stopped within 20 minutes and the red light came back

Thursday - Frustrated holding on the 800 number for an hour is a pain right now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays

Have you tried to reset the breaker associated with your HWPC? Maybe it is like half-tripped or something?

Just like any electronic device, when in doubt, cycle the power.

You could also try plugging in your mobile charger to a regular 120v outlet to try and suss our whether it’s the car or the charger.
