I have a roof leak, Tesla says rotten wood

It doesnt work that way. Tesla is responsible for finding, removing the panels and repairing the leak. Remind them of what your contract says, they may be in breach of contract if they refuse to come out, inspect and repair the leak.

I happened to be taking a look at my Solar city contract (because I am in a solar city PPA as well), and the above is what it says (so I am agreeing with @Gixx1300R ). @bevapo , I could probably turn the relevant parts of the solar city contract into a PDF and attach it here if you ended up needing to point it out to someone that Tesla is supposed to handle this.

Even if they end up calling someone else out, I believe it says that they (Tesla) are responsible, in fairly clear language, too.
