I sold my Tesla Model Y today

I owned it for about one year and put >20k miles within that time frame. Originally purchased for $49k and sold it today for $68k (was also due for a new set of tires, did not change them). Overall I loved the way the car drove, loves the savings on gas and loved the technology... but... the offer was just too good to refuse. It was fun being part of the Tesla community over the past year! Maybe one day I'll be back with a CyberTruck, if it ever gets released

They paid off the remainder on my loan and refunded me around $4000... will probably fund my Fidelity account with it

Yes. It was technically 66,XXX but with the trade in tax benefit it was closer to $68k. I had them match the insane Carvana offer from last month. I went to the dealership last month but the car wasn't in stock... they got a delivery that included some Insights earlier this week and the salesman called me back and said he'll honor last month's deal if I still wanted the car lol

I've seen them listed for 70k or higher at some dealerships in the northeast. Whether or not people will pay those prices is another thing entirely. With an offer like this I had to jump on it ASAP!

With gas prices what they are and rumors that Tesla will stop taking orders due to the massive wait times, I would expect our used Tesla prices to climb even higher.
