Open Amazon Prime -- if you have it -- and watch the 2008 hour long episode of Nova called "Car of the Future" featuring the brilliant and funny car guys/MIT grads, the Magliozzi brothers (Click and Clack). It's hardly an ICE promo but definitely spends the most time discussing efforts to make future ICE much more energy efficient. Or as some of us now believe: How to develop new lipsticks for their pet pig.
Tesla's founder is briefly interviewed but hardly the focus of the show. In fact, my overwhelming impression was the show totally missed the forces around electric vehicles getting ready to explode. The creators seem to see the future but hardly expected what we are seeing in 2018. Of course China had not yet decided that they were going all electric. And who would have thought Tesla would be where it is after a mere ten years. Elon wasn't even the face of Tesla yet and no one including Musk predicted the 500,000 sight unseen Model 3 depositors.
