can anyone tell me if the 2020 Tesla model 3 performance should come equipped with heated steering wheel as standard and if so where is the on/off button

I don't think it was there on early models in the year, but was on later models. The control is in the climate control, middle bottom.

Depends when the car was built but if a 20 plate it is too old.

Yeah I believe the 2021's that were MiC were the first ones to come with the heated steering wheel.

My December 2020 SR+ doesn't have a heated steering wheel.

I think it was about March 2021, made in China models.

December (ish) 2020 facelift models were made in US and have all the facelift features, except for the heated steering wheel.

Sept 20 LR reporting in with no heated steering wheel.
I have found that because of my wheel position the top gets warmed by the vents anyway and a ten minute precondition on cold days does the job even better.
I also have the driver vent angled down into the wheel. I don't know whether that setting is saved for Easy Entry/remote climate.

if you own the car and aren’t sure, on the app, look on climate and it’s there.
