Same, will try again in the afternoon. I'd say its just timing get loaded on to systemsInsurance sorted only 125 euros more than my old car opel Astra 2010 so pretty good.
Anyone tried paying there road tax? I just had a text from Tesla saying to get it sorted but can't login to the car tax site with the details I was given.
I thought road tax didn’t matter here and that requirement is for other countries. I don’t know if we can tax the car yet. When I did my insurance this morning it wasn’t on their systems yet, I assume that’s the same for the road tax.Insurance sorted only 125 euros more than my old car opel Astra 2010 so pretty good.

Every new car I’ve ever bought I’ve driven off the forecourt with no tax. Unless somethings changed since 2019.Yeah was the same for my insurance too they also didnt have the M3H LR on their system.
Will try again with the road tax later or tomorrow, I'm not sure about it not mattering though.
Just tire there to tax my car, it’s saying the details are incorrect, I’ll try again later.Every new car I’ve ever bought I’ve driven off the forecourt with no tax. Unless somethings changed since 2019.
Nope hasn't changed. Usually you're able to tax it the day you collect/day after as the system is updated with the correct details. I've always only gotten the details needed to tax the car upon collection (other brands - not Tesla)Every new car I’ve ever bought I’ve driven off the forecourt with no tax. If it’s your own company then can you get insurance personally and just expense it to the company? You’ll retain your NCD then. It's the first time I've bought a company car. Rang two companies so far and they've gone away to get the quote. I'm expecting big numbers! Anyone else insuring it in a company name? What insurer did you use?
I’m in same boat. First time company car insurance and AFAIK you have to get company insurance as personal insurers won’t cover if car not owned by person insured. I think you have to transfer personal NCB to company. I got quote from broker www.insuremycars.ie and it’s not cheap - €1,600 for me + named driver fully comp. I’d love to be wrong so if there’s a better option I’m all ears.If it’s your own company then can you get insurance personally and just expense it to the company? You’ll retain your NCD then.
Mine is Wednesday 3 pmNothing here either. I keep checking the app and also a browser to see if reg appears.
Due to collect Thursday at 3pm.
Apparently not. That would be ideal but the car is in the company name so needs company insurance. Just another way for them to get €€€!If it’s your own company then can you get insurance personally and just expense it to the company? You’ll retain your NCD then.
Hmm, I got different advice but perhaps you are using your car for commercial purposes?Apparently not. That would be ideal but the car is in the company name so needs company insurance. Just another way for them to get €€€!
