, the motors are binned. Similar to what AMD/Intel does with CPUs. Many models are the same exact chip, just binned to a higher quality tier allowing them to sell it as a higher spec model with more compute performance.
The fact there's only a single part # suggests they found there's not enough difference from one motor to another actually make any difference.
When a service center orders a replacement P drive unit and a replacement AWD drive unit, it's the exact same part # he's ordering.
