Is the Model X spoiler fixed or retractable?

I believe you will. My VIN is also in the 3xxx range.

My X, built a year ago this month, has a retracting spoiler. When I set it to Extended instead of Automatic it reverts to Automatic after any change in the car—on, off, forward, park, etc. and I cannot change the setting when not parked so essentially Extended isn't really an option. Too bad, was hoping to keep it up under icy conditions, instead I just get CRUNCH. Be careful what you wish for.

My active spoiler stays extended; done it a few times in the snow. Set to extended when I park, after a day skiing it is still up.

I load the bottom of the window with walnuts or pecans in this situation. Liability has just become an asset.

Did 2 ski trips on fairly cold CA days, my spoiler behavior was OK, but one day my passenger mirror stuck in closed position. It freed up while driving home.

Remember the S owner with the spoiler option on his CID after one of the 7 releases?
I think he said the spoiler was fixed......in the retracted position.
