Ah... this is the J1772. I had no idea what a ‘J converter’ was, I though it was the gizmo that let you charge from something else (which it actually does, lol). My bad.

As was said, if the port is set to unlock, there shouldn’t be any voltage on the pins.

I saw a post maybe in the last month or two of the exact same thing happening to someone else. Can't remember the details but you might try searching for their thread. Maybe it was Retrospected if he created a thread on it?

It was. Thankfully I had plenty of advice on the forms as well.
