Is Xpel inside overkill?

Xpel outside is overkill.
Just drive the bloody thing. You could have it tongue-washed every week and it would be cheaper than wrapping.

I’m new to the Xpel/ paint protection stuff and am hoping to find something clear to have installed over the center console and screen of the Model 3. Can you get clear Xpel installed for the interior? I’d rather not change the look of the car, but I’d like something to protect against scratches.

My installer did the center console for free when I had the front of the car wrapped with Xpel. Went with the stealth for the center console and am very happy with the look. Installer said he would change it out with Xpel Ultimate if I get tired of it.

Thanks. I’d want to keep the glossy look of the center console and screen, so I guess that means I’d want Xpel Ultimate.

If they remove the pieces and wrap the edges, have them do it.

The summation of all the responses here is exactly how I feel. I should do it, but $200 is robbery, but its also not #innerturmoil

bought and installed the RPM kit which eventually started lifting around the edges. gave up after countless emails to them and got the xpel stealth kit which is what i should’ve done to begin with

I had the center console wrapped with Xpel clear about $100. Had this done in July.

When I had my car wrapped with Xpel; hood, front fenders, mirrors and front bumper in Oct my installer told me they noticed some scratches on my center console so they just removed them just yet heating it up (hot air).

Probably the best thing about Expel.
