I qualified for a $1k rebate (time of purchase only) through San Diego Gas & Electric. The rebate is processed through Plug-In America. I contacted PIA the day I ordered the MY (last Friday) and confirmed the rebate was still valid and in their system. informed my SA it had to be taken at the time of purchase and he acted as if he was familiar with it. Sent him the approval email and rebate code. 5 days later I get an email from SA who said the Fremont office is having "technical difficulties" applying the rebate. Maybe pigeons are carrying the cash to Fremont, who knows. Such a bummer that I can't even order and pay for the car without an issue.
