Just recently updated my juicebox app and discovered it applied their own Tesla 3 charging profile which caused the 3 to charge outside of TOU hours. It will charge at 9 A as soon as you plug in the car.
This is what I was told:
"It happens due to implementation of a "special" charging profile for Tesla 3 only. Tesla Model 3 while is in sleep mode is not waking up from J1772 calls to wake up and EV more often than it is and is not accepting the charge. There were a lot of Tesla 3 owners who were complaining about occasionally having no charge at all over a charging session."
I was told to use a different car profile, as Tesla 3 one doesn't work. My main question is why do they even have that profile if they know it doesn't work at all?? (Defeats the purpose of TOU if it always charges at a low amp until Start time) Anyone else encountered this after update of app?
