I have a Zappi and use the readings from the App to measure the kWh input to my MY. This figure is always higher than the figure from the Tesla app. Which is likely to be the more accurate?

What does Zappi do?

Tesla app measures the actual energy that the battery gains. Notice that it takes more than that amount in a charging session such as HVAC, entertainment, lights, and comfort for humans. The battery warmer also consumes energy but not credited as battery energy gain/miles...

Is this what you are talking about with Zappi?

Also don’t forget the charger in the car is not 100% efficient, you lose 5-10%.

Yep, and you even lose 1-2% in the wires going to the charger.
