Tessie app inflating my charge cycles?

Last week it said my car has been through 138 cycles, I looked at it today now it says 146 cycles even though I’ve the app says I’ve only put in 140 kwh which would only be about 2 cycles not 8

Is this accurate or should I ignore it

If I was going through 8 cycles in 1 week my battery would be done in 4 years lol
I drive 340 miles per week

I don’t use that app but it appears they’re counting charging sessions, not battery cycles.

I mean, they can call them rainbow puppy explosions if they want, that doesn’t really mean anything of consequence to your car or your battery.

Was trying the free trial on this app I think I’ll let it expire seems kinda useless if it’s not accurate and they can’t even label their data right

Charge cycles, went from 138 to 146 in 1 week when I only drove 340 miles, but now it’s saying 144 which is still too high for 340 miles

340 miles is barley over 1 cycle not even close to 6-8
