Latest Model X - Vented Seats?

I know the vented seats were discontinued a few years ago but someone said they were back, can anyone with a recently purchased Model X confirm (or deny) this?

Deny. Have a 2020 model picked up 12/20/19. No vented seats.

I have them and they make a big difference. I guess it depends on where you live. Houston is very hot. The cooling seats work great on a very hot day.

I wonder why it is that they come and go. Even a slight difference in temperature on the seats during the summer makes a big difference here in AZ as well. I hope they figure this out sometime this year, as I’d love to have on the next X.

Had them on a 2018 S....not on my 2019 X. Seemed like I would prefer the vented but in real life, for me, not much difference.

Deny as well. Picked up a 2020 12/23/19, and no vented seats.

What color seats do you have? I thought the perforated seats that allowed ventilation went away in 2018. My March 2018 P100D with white seats don't have perforated seats for ventilation.

No that’s a regular white vegan seat in the photo . I have a Performance MX Raven July 2019 build. Can confirm my white seats are like the rest.

Tesla Patent seems to hint vented seats will return in the future. Probably stopped adding them as they didn’t work as great as they sound.

The distance shots don't show the perforations, but you can see them on the passenger seat in the interior photo that shows the center display.

They've come and gone more than once. I don't remember all of the dates, but I believe the original delete of the option was soon after I took delivery in March 2017. They came back a year-ish later and went away again after a few months.

Ok can barely see passenger seat...at least not on a mobile device.

Can you explain why one would buy it listed for $99k, when Tesla is selling 2020 brand new for $105k in that configuration? The 2020 would also come with free unlimited super charging for the lifetime of first ownership.

Please don’t say vented seats if it indeed is vented. Most say it would tear over time and didn’t work that great unless it was super hot and sweaty.

I didn’t mean to hijack the thread when posting the Autotrader ad as evidence ventilated seats did come back, albeit briefly. I did find the seller’s asking price to be a bit, hmmmm ... unrealistic?

He is selling a performance version, as he says it has ludiscous+. That makes his price make more sense.

It looks like it's a Raven performance car. Similar car new with the options it has would be around $112k (Sonic carbon wheels no longer available). Car has very low miles so I wouldn't say the selling price is unrealistic.
