Latest on 3rd row seats?

Lot's of noise and discussion around potential rear facing 3rd row seats a month ago. Has there been any additional news on this front? I recall hearing someone was getting an early preview of a 3rd row seating model but never saw anything posted if this occured.

Maybe, just maybe when the 3rd Row Seats do come out, the car might actually have a slightly different design to the rear hatch to allow for more head and leg room. Just a thought......
