Looking for subwoofer power

I'm installing a subwoofer with a relatively small (NVX MVPA1) amp which needs a 30A 12v supply.

The car is a 2 month old 85D.

Two questions:

1) The 12v battery isn't under the air filter. I can't see it anywhere.
2) There is an auxiliary fuse box inside the cabin on the passenger side which is fed with a pretty hefty power wire which comes off the main fuse box. Can I use that to feed my 30A fuse?

Thanks.

No, wait. Tap the 12v post that goes into the fuse box under the center plastic cover under the hood. There are two, I think the right one is fused, and they both come directly from the 12v battery. There are extra threads on the top you can use to put another nut on and close over your terminal post. PM me for more specific details.
