The funny thing is, I never got any emails or texts or calls or anything. If I hadn't been obsessively checking my account page every day, I'd never have seen that I have a delivery appointment (which I have called in to confirm). Six and a quarter hours to go and I'll be gasoline-free, though! Exciting times!
Called again just now and was told that they aren't doing any sales in Portugal, apparently. Does it seem to be US only? Any UK buyers with it?
I just spoke to a SA at the Costa Mesa location. They said another week for my 8/18 order. They were able to comp only one upgrade which was the 19" wheels. I didn't complain since it's a $1500 bonus compared to the $750 for the black paint.

Just got matched to a MSM/18"/AP AWD that was a test drive vehicle with 1003 miles. $670 off for miles and free paint upgrade (I had ordered pearl white on 9/4 with no VIN etc as of today). I haven't seen the car but I would imagine Tesla maintained it well since it was for test drives.

Called my SA today to check on the status of my 08/23 order LR AWD MSM/Black AP 18" Areo. He said California wouldn't be getting a shipment of vehicles until 09/24 and it's going to be MASSIVE shipment. He then placed me on hold and came back with the "Stealth" Model P3D—(Might not be correct abbreviation) was mysteriously in-stock as he just checked yesterday and saw nothing. He matched me immediately and gave me a $2,500/off for paint/wheels + (2)year SC. So I just got a P3D for 1k more, WOOT!!

Awesome deal. I would have taken 19” and maybe blue color with 2 years free SC. But ain’t complaining given I got my P3D- more than a month ago with white/black interior and aero.

Update 9/16/2019
- 9/7 - Order placed on website (LR AWD, White/black, aero, no FSD) and got the usual emails from sales rep and delivery specialist
- 9/9 - Went shopping for auto financing (837 credit score, Six figure income, etc)
- TechCU - REJECTED (even though I am current customer, WTF) - will send me reason for rejection through mail
- Lightstream - REJECTED - no reason given
- Texall - approved for 4.49%
- Alliant - approved for 4.49%
- Andrews Federal Credit Union - approved for 3.99% (with GAP insurance)
- 9/10 - spoke with all the approved credit unions and will be moving forward with Andrews. Super nice, very responsive and easy to work with
- 9/11 - Submitted paystubs, insurance, drivers license and standard stuff to Andrews
- 9/12 - On Tesla website I put I will be financing through Andrews
- Two minutes after I hit submit, I get a text to schedule delivery for 9/24
- VIN has been assigned (checked through the View Source method)
- 9/13 - MVPA Recieved - submitted everything to credit union
- 9/14 - SA confirms 2K Supercharging applied to account
- 9/15 - Reached out to SA about 2 year supercharging, says this shouldn't be a problem and will get approval from her manager
- 9/16 - Signed final paperwork with credit union, they cut a check and provided tracking number and photo, I emailed it to delivery specialist. Still on track for 9/24 delivery but could arrive even sooner!

She's beautiful, no issues on pickup and we were thorough going over it. Loved every minute driving it since, and the husband is currently in the garage, playing beach buggy racer (she's primarily my car).
I called our SA on Saturday to confirm the 2 year SC and she said it was not a problem and we "definitely qualified" for it. I re-confirmed again today at pickup and they said the same thing and that they would put a note on our account and it should show up in a few days. He said between our SA's request and his, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Crazy. I ordered 8/29. I completed all the way through financing the next day. LR AWD, Blue/black, aero, no FSD. I've heard nothing at all still.
How long did it take for you get that confirmed (I stress confirmed) in your order details?
I say that because we've been told elsewhere across different threads that it's one or the other: 2 free years of SC or up to 2 discounted upgrades, but not both.
I also have a similar situation and the discounts don't show up on my order yet.
UPDATE: I got a second text last night stating that my car just left the factory. Any chance that I'm really getting this, or did everyone get a message last night as well? So far, I must say that things have been extra smooth and they have really kept me informed of everything. Even my dealer has called me to give me updates. I think the service may differ depending on where you are.

This is kind of a confirmation of what I have surmised from reading posts and articles over the last few weeks...Californians will be the absolute last to get their deliveries because they are within hours of the factory. It’s all about getting the most deliveries to count for the quarter. Since I’m 60 miles from Fremont I suspect I’ll be getting my model 3 on Sunday September 29th - a full 45 days after I placed my order.
Interesting, well they can take the (2)yrs SC and give me my 2.5k discounts if anything bad happens. My SA said I should see the update on my account by tomorrow afternoon. I also was very direct with them and will be calling tomorrow to follow-up as I stated on the phone. I think they know I mean business so don't think there will be a "problem"— "US" movie quote.
To answer your questions: My account shows the "Stealth" Tesla M3 but not 2.5k discount yet. I'll keep you posted!
Not sure what the usual order of texts is but just as a data point I ordered on 9/12/19 and just got a text today (9/16/19) saying my car "will be exiting the factory and heading" my way "in the next few days". Not sure if that's just the standard order received message or if it really will be on the way in a few days (which would be great).
