Why would spoiler A stay fixed in place and spoiler B fall off?
If the spoiler is a reasonable fit surely it then comes down to
1. How good the double sided tape is
2. How clean (free of grease) the boot surface was
Water gets between the spoiler and the car and presumably over time and temperature changes (expansion, etc) cause the tape to lose adhesion? That's my best guess.

They must use crap tape, and not apply adhesion primer to the boot lid before sticking it.
I used 3M VHB tape and 3M Primer 94 on my BMW F30 spoiler, it was still stuck fast after more than 3 years, so much so that I actually broke the spoiler trying to remove it!
