I took test drive and ordered myself online after a week.
Ordering yourself online still prompts you with an SA, if you test drove a car - they have your information. Typically, its the same person you dealt with at the location you test drove (At least in my case, that's how it was). I ordered online, and was assigned the same SA that helped me out at my local showroom. Once you order online, you're followed up with a "Welcome to the Tesla Family" email after 1-2 days from an SA to help you with the tasks you need to complete prior to taking delivery. In the email, the SA states you will be assigned a Delivery Specialist closer to your Delivery Date.

It does not speed up delivery, however if you aren't aware of what tasks you need to complete like downloading the app, completing your profile, etc... then it does slow things down.

I ordered mine on March 6 at the SC with an advisor, 10 seconds after my test drive. We kept in touch via email since day one.
The only option I got was tow. EDD was August, then Sept, then Oct 2022 - Jan 2023. Been like this for a week or so now.
Ok. I ordered it online on March 14 and Edd was Sep 2022 and then added FSD on 24th March then EDD chnaged to June-Sep2022.
Configuration: MYLR-7seater - White clr-Black seats- Gemini wheels
