Minor clear coat scratch from motorcyclist (not at fault), should I bother to report to insurance?

Hey all,

So I am on the freeway, a motorcyclist decided a skip through a really tight space between two cars (my car and a semi truck), and caused a clear coat scratch (I think mostly). Here's a picture link for the damage:

I got their license plates fortunately with a secondary dashcam, not with the included dashcam. I will upload the videos later when I have a chance.

What do you guys think? Should I bother reporting this to insurance? I don't necessarily want to impact on my insurance.

For this minor repair, avoid insurance. It will end up showing on any reports such as CarFax. Even if minor, it will still devalue your car likely far more than the cost of a repair.

Try polishing it out. Might be good enough to live with. Avoid paintwork as much as you possibly can.
