I forgot to mention that I met Forest at a Nissan Leaf drive event in San Jose. We had a lot of time to chat while waiting in line for our test drives. Though wearing a Mission Motors cap, he's no longer with the company and is working on another venture related to V2G.

Funny, I chatted with Gene Berdichevsky while waiting in line at the San Jose Leaf test drive event.

My Leaf order is scheduled to arrive at the dealer in about a month. I need to decide if I am actually going to buy it... (That money would make a nice Roadster down-payment...)

Just demonstrates that mass producing stuff is too hard, even when that stuff is quite cool

It is unfortunate that Apple gets associated with this development. Imho the decision to leave comes first, the choice of the new job (employer) is secondary.
