Mobile charger - held for pickup at UPS?!

So, my mobile charger shipped yesterday - woohoo. Was certainly hoping to get it before my car pickup, which is scheduled for February 10th. Everything seemed to be on-track…

Until tracking info shows the package is being held at a UPS location for customer pickup, at request of the sender! Worse yet, the UPS location it’s at is in CA, and I’m in Texas. Has anyone ever seen this happen before? I’m looking to be a little proactive here in case fixes to these things play out slowly…

This looks like lazy data entry. Happens a lot with Amazon.

Package delivered. Not on my doorstep. Get the package a little later, the next day, or at the neighbors.

If the package doesn't arrive at your doorstep at the expected dates, then by all means follow-up with Tesla.

Check with UPS online chat if a change of address is possibe, sometime only the sender can perform the change.

If the parcel is not pickup, it will otherwise be returned to the sender.

Can you access the address of both the sender and the original destination?

Lazy data entry for the win I guess. The tracking now shows it’s heading onward to my house. Very strange, but I’ll accept the easy solution!
