Model 3 crazy vampire drain

I parked my Model 3 at the airport on a Sunday at about 1:30 pm. It had 196 miles (63%).

When I returned on Friday at about 11 am, it had 168 miles (54%).

So it lost 28 miles (9%) while parked for 5 days, or 5.6 miles per day.

I forgot to add that my car had "2018.4.9 700fb88" software at the time. It was updated to 2018.12.1 last night. When I get a chance to test it again I will report the results.

Update:
2018.4.9 I had roughly 4 miles drain / 12 hours. So about 8 miles per day.

2018.10.5 I had rightly 1-2 miles drain per 12 hours. So about 3-4 miles per day. The car would go to sleep often and when accessing from phone it would always say “waking up”

!!SOS!!
2018.12.1, I now lose about 9-10 miles in 12 hours, the car never sleeps and is always connected to my phone. This would mean I’m losing about 20 miles per day!

I’m going to attempt a full reboot and see if that helps fix things.

Anyone else encounter crazy vampire drain on 2018.12.1?

I noticed that the car was never going to sleep anymore since the update. This morning I did a full restart of the car (power off, waiting 3 minutes, then open door or press on brakes), and I force quit the app on my iPhone, it now goes to sleep again on 12.1. I'm hoping that resolved it, I'll have to test further tonight.

I got 2018.12.1 yesterday. Last night I left my car unplugged with 162mi. This morning, I woke up and it was at 161mi.

I called customer support this morning and they said they saw some odd alerts that they didn't recognize. They're forwarding to service, so maybe something just bugged with my update or something... Hoping to get it resolved soon. Good to hear that it's not in the update cause I really like the scroll wheel feature.

So the pedal reset doesn't work? I also upgraded to 2018.12.1 two days ago, and it's still acts the same as 2018.10.5, car will goes to sleep after an hour or so, after night battery drain is limited to 1-2 mi.

Local Service just said they can’t see the logs for TM3 here, only S/X, they can’t roll back or do much and they are sending the logs up to engineering, but it might be a while till they hear back.

Someone frocm corporate support said they could see alerts in the logs they had never seen. So no solutions yet.

I just got 14.1 today, it’s still installing. It’s supposed to fix some of this drain. I’ll report back tomorrow how it does. On 12.1 I lose about 1 mile per hour!

14.1 is starting to roll out for model 3?

Very slowly but yes. It also gives you Chill Mode. Car is still fairly peppy in chill mode, so it’s not quite like a Prius, but you can def feel the difference.
