Model 3 Extended Warranty

Hi there
I took delivery of my Model 3 on 01/30. I inquired about extended warranty on Model 3 to delivery specialist as well as inside sales representative. However I was told that extended warranty is not offered on Model 3. I am surprised because it's offered on Model S and X. Does anyone have any additional information on extended warranty for Model 3?

I suspect just like when Model X was first came out, there were no pre-paid maintenance plans nor was any for extended warranty even when many owners offered to buy them immediately.

It took quite a long time after the production start before Tesla started to sell those options to owners.

I'm pretty sure it was the same as when the S came out as well. Really there is no difference having one or not right now, so there isn't a hurry.

Thanks for this info. For Model S/X, I was told you have up to 6 months to buy extended warranty before the prices for extended warranty go up by (may be by 10%). So, I just wanted to check whether my inside sales specialist didn't have all info on this one.
