I spoke to a Tesla SA Yorkdale. They said the plate over around the edges (they say Tesla on it) is an additional $50. Otherwise the plate is just screwed into the bracket front and back.

if its covers the words ontario at the top, and the yours to discover at the bottom, its a no go

we gucci then ^^ and yeah just checked their site out these fully go around the outside. its not like the generic dealership ones that cover like 1inch around the border of the plate

i remember one time i forgot an aftermarket review mirror (broadway -made in japan) was like $50
was pretty upset, and ofc the dealership was like "nope no idea what you talking about"

even tho i know its illegal. tempted to get these, i already got tint film for the head lights (also illegal). whats up with ontario making all these things illegal T.T probably will get ceramic window tint too. lets see when i get pulled over how much ill get ticketed LOLLL

It was just an assumption based on an article that was published in AU. I just hope they don’t start locking features behind a paywall like with heated seats, etc…
you mean like they did on the older generation model 3s? $300 to unlock heated back seats
technically FSD is a pay wall so is premium connectivity

This was great, thank you. Learned a bunch of new things I hadn't heard in any of the reviews and such, from the VP of Engineering himself so that's cool.
Same thing in Québec. If its covers the Québec at the top and " Je me souviens" at the bottom, its not legal
