Model 3 - Left Windshield Wiper Fails to Clean Window

New Tesla Model 3 owner here...I wanted to get some feedback. Anyone having issues with left windshield wiper failing to clean the windows fully? I am always left with streaks on my bottom left of my windshield...

Same for my 2020. Seems like the sprayer nozzle just doesn't get that section of the window wet. As a result the clearing function and visibility is very poor.

So I am guess I am not alone here then...seems like a real failure in design...

Mine is fine, but I keep my windows clean and coated with Gyeon Cure. Haven't noticed any problems with spraying or wiping. I guess make sure that water is coming out. It could be that your nozzle is disconnected.

Same here I have that same streak and there is not enough spray water to get the whole left window wet. I called the service advisor right after ii got the car and they said it is by designed.

I also have a lot of problems with my windshield and streaking / smearing and I haven't figured it out yet. I swapped the wipers and it isn't better. I think it might be the fluid that came with the car but we'll see. I'm about to swap it out.

Very hard to get any significant amount of fluid to come out. Especially all the way to the left. It seems to run out before it gets there. Also very little coverage towards the bottom. Even worse while the car is moving. Yes I understand the physics involved and no I've never had a similar problem in any car before.

Check the wiper fluid lines under the large removableplastic piece in the frunk. I had the same issue until I check the lines and it had come off for the left wiper. Just had to reconnect the line and so far no issues

I actually went to a service center to ask about it. It's just a bad design, and I hope they change it in the future.

I've seen that also, and I wonder whether there are no "jets" toward the bottom of the wiper. For me, the part it doesn't clean is below my line of sight.

bad design. I've been to the service center about this 2x and there's nothing they can do. while driving it's impossible to get the bottle left quadrant clean however if you're at a stop sign or driving very slow you can get pretty close. extremely annoying and something tesla needs to address

YES! Couldn’t agree more, and glad I’m not alone. Thought it was just my car that had this issue, but when we got a second one, it also leaves about a 1inch or 2 streak on the left side. But somehow only in the winter. Just pump out half your wiper fluid reservoir and it should get wet enough to be cleaned.

Wait, are both wipers supposed to have fluid sprayers? Mine only seems to spray from the passenger wiper, but since the fluid seems to reach most of the windshield, I figured that was just the design. Guess I’ll have the SC take a look, since I’m going in soon anyway.

I find I have to time the spray so it goes in the left wiper blade, just before the blades have almost finished their downstroke.

If you don't time it right, the spray just goes on the right wiper blade.

If you do, it seems to work OK, not great but OK.

The wiper fluid is only coming out of the of the right wiper for me...does yours come out of both?

Mine ONLY comes out of the passenger side wiper as well.

What did they say? They are aware of it? My right wiper only shoots out the fluid...how about yours?
