Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Spent all day Saturday test driving all variants of the 3 and Y. Finally decided on and ordered mine (M3 LR, White, Aero Wheels, Black Interior, no FSD) on 6/5 and got a delivery estimate for July 5-July 25. Woke up this morning to those dates being moved closer to June 30-July 20. A friend ordered a Model Y on the same day and his estimate was the end of August. He woke up this morning to June 22-June 30.

Well, after getting "There are currently no appointments available" trying to schedule a delivery appointment all yesterday and today, I got a "reminder" text from Tesla to schedule my delivery appointment"! LOL. I'm trying!

Did you try calling them and booking it through the phone? Someone here said they did that and got it booked.

Yeah I would definitely call your delivery location. I would not rely on Tesla's online systems.

Yay, my car is here. Delivery day is Sunday, but it looks like the service center got it in earlier. Hopefully, they finish their inspection and let me pick it up earlier.

Honestly yes. In the world we live in now, everyone wants what they want now. I was told it would be a while, and I still got a tad impatient if I am honest with myself. I was more pissed when I wanted to change configs and spend more and nobody would call me. That was some BS.

Midway through the process I realized that my order date was largely irrelevant and it was all about my location. Still annoys me that I can find my exact build in Texas just sitting there for sale for anyone to go and pick up tomorrow while my car in Cali isn't even built yet.

Just scheduled my delivery for Friday at 10am in Paramus, NJ. its_happening.gif!!!!

I'll update later with photos and details of my experience.

How did you schedule? I can’t get anyone to respond at Paramus thus far.

Yeah I would definitely call your delivery location. I would not rely on Tesla's online systems.

But we will rely on them for vision-only self driving lol

West coast will get their cars last, and most likely 5 days or less before the end of the month. Always happens this way. Did your SAs tell you nothing?

I'm pretty sure I broke my Tesla site and app

This is the browser on my phone. Also when I use the app it briefly shows the logo then goes completely blank. Tried clearing cookies, cache and history, reinstalling app, phone reset but nothing . I still have access to the site via PC.

Maybe if we can overload their systems from checking our EDD to the point where new people can't go on the site to order a car, they'll actually improve their estimates and/or get us our cars quicker?

Average VIN to delivery depends on your location. The farther away you are from Fremont, CA I assume the longer the time frame from when you get your VIN to when you get delivery. For CA I calculated the average time from VIN to delivery is 4 days.

Yeah there is a guy picking up from Burbank got the VIN yesterday and is picking up tonight.
