Model 3: parts and repairs

I had a minor accident. I got my estimate and insurance approval... everything was set to go, except Tesla is 1-3 weeks out on availability of a replacement door panel. Plus, they don't deliver, so my repair facility has to pick it up themselves.

First I love my 2018 Model 3... But last year (3/5/19) another driver made an illegal U-turn and without looking ran into the side of my M3. It took 3 months for a Tesla authorized repair shop in Atlanta to get parts from Tesla and get my car fixed. I could somewhat understand the long time in that Tesla was trying to build as many cars as possible at the that time. But this year (6/19/20) while I was stopped at a red light, a distracted driver ran into the back of my car. It is now September and the same Tesla authorized shop has not received the parts needed to fix the car! Frustrated! Be thankful for 3 weeks instead of 3 months.
