Model 3 roof bars?

Hi all,

I believe the roof bars in the US are whisper bars? Given I already have a set, specifically so they can be easily used on any car my family or I have, any idea where to get parts/numbers for to get the foot set for the M3?

Last time I needed to to set them up for a new car, it was only £20, keeping my fingers crossed!

What are the chances that your bars would be the exact correct length to fit the Model 3? (I'm pretty sure they are custom.)

As far as I know they are only available from Tesla as a complete package.

I have the ones that overhang - can be made to fit anything from a suzuki swift up to Mazda 6 with room to spare. Called "through bars": Seat Leon 5dr (05-13) :Whispbar roof bars package - S16 bars with K512 kit. and its just the 'fitting kit' (see bottom of the page) that you need to swap to fit different cars.
That link are the ones I have at 120cm, these are the model S ones at 135cm: Tesla Model S (14 on) with fixing points & WITH panoramic sunroof:Whispbar roof bars package - S17 bars with K930 kit.. The 120's are right for an A4, A6, 3 series and a Mazda 6.

So it might work. Probably. Except Tesla knowing my luck.

The Tesla fit wouldn't work for those bars, so your rack company would have to make their own feet for the Model 3 for those bars. Which given the volume of the Model 3 it would make sense for them to do that.
