My memory of lining up at the St Leonards Tesla store just after 7am on Thu, 31 March 2016 is still very much with me. About 40 people ahead of me, my reservation was made at 08:43. And I was in the photo that Elon tweeted that day showing the line to make the first Model 3 orders in the world
