Model S Software/Firmware Updates

Encouraging! Sensor (blind spot, backup etc?) and Cruise control (adaptive?) improvements will really help finish off this class of car.

YouTube has some videos of the model s hidden menus(fake or not i don't know) that show options for those features. Also the store I was at said those features are in the works and current owners will be able to upgrade their car. How much? I have no idea. Also, I asked about voice navigation and she nodded her head that that was in the works as well. "Go to ....."

Headed seat option for the rear are also in the works, previously announced for euro models so it makes sense that the US will get those as well.

Now, the sleep mode she was less optimistic about, I don't remember what she said but it sounded like a future update with no defined date. Obviously the car will always have to suck some power to heat/cool the battery to keep it healthy. And to operate little stuff like the key fob receiver.

Huh, I thought that is what she said. I'm a bit auditory dyslexic so who knows. She did seem new though, see had no idea that the website said "Hardware Upgrades" on the service page.

Anyone got any feedback on this one?

I'm hoping for a return to 32A 3-phase charging... maybe its just an EU update?

It will download if car is connected. It will not install until you return and schedule install.
