Is there any changes interior or exterior, big or small change between the Aug 2018 and Oct 2018 production model X?
If the Tesla owner specialist says nothing changed, would that be solid enough or do you think they don’t even know themselfs? Not sure if anyone can say for certain. A good example of this is that Tesla suddenly started putting sensors on the interior of the FWDs in fall of 2017. These types of changes are not well published and hard to track.
Yes. Tesla owner specialist do not know a lot of things (talking from first hand experience). If the Tesla owner specialist says nothing changed, would that be solid enough or do you think they don’t even know themselfs?
So how and where can I confirm that there’s no difference?Yes. Tesla owner specialist do not know a lot of things (talking from first hand experience).

Unfortunately, its difficult to exactly find out. This forum will be the best bet.So how and where can I confirm that there’s no difference?
Thanks for your help
Especially if you are asking about cars that are just being produced in the last weeks. Few of them have already reaches their owners and most of those owners will not notice such small differences, or at least not right away.Unfortunately, its difficult to exactly find out. This forum will be the best bet.
Wouldn't the build date inside the driver's door jamb be the best way to gauge that?No discern-able difference between Aug/Oct 2018 build. for vanity reasons though, i want my new car to be brand new, new. like it was built less than a month ago.

Seconding what ab26 said, forums like this one and websites like Teslarati.com are probably your best bet. Since I've been visiting regularly, I've (sadly) been more informed on Tesla updates than any employee I've spoken with at a store or a service center.
