Just took delivery of my 2017 Model X last Friday.
The drivers door with convenience features worked fine, it would open and close with the break. Now when you press the outside handle or open with the inside handle it just cracks up and you have to pry it open and it feels very firm and tight. The brake will not close the door once extended. I called the Chicago SC and they had an appointment setup for me to get it looked at , they called me back later in the day and said it's a know software challenge and I should wait for a firmware update.
Seems a bit ridiculous that this has to wait for a firmware update, especially when the door worked fine at delivery. I read some other threads back from 2016 here and tried the Lock / Unlock twice method , and some other suggestions of rebooting the computer with both drivers wheel buttons. Nothing has worked.
Anyone else have this on a more recent MX delivery that was able to resolve?
Should I call Tesla HQ to get an alternative answer than that provided my local Chicago SC?
