Model X Refresh Bike Rack

Anyone have the Tesla rack and like it? I don’t need anything fancy. 4 bikes would be the max, and it just needs to be used to transport bikes locally. Most likely no long distance over state lines and hit on range shouldn’t be an issue. Thanks.

I have it and am a fan of its simplicity and decently light weight. With bikes on unless you turn on towing mode it will warn you about your ultrasonic sensors picking up the bikes but autopilot will still work. Towing mode will disable autopilot though.

Not sure how the newer cars work, but with AP1 I just disable my backup sensors. There's nothing involved with tow mode.

Didn’t need anything fancy. Got the Tesla one and it seems to do the job I need without too much complexity. First time using these so the neighborhood drive had me nervous at first but it seems pretty solid and secure.

It's a Yakima rack, they make pretty good stuff.

I believe it. Though for kids bikes… it’s a bit shady. Lol.

Just make sure you stay within the weight limit for the Bosal Hitch bike spec.
