Model Y Auto Frunk Available Soon!

Tesla Offer/AmpTech has just released a video showcasing the Model Y Frunk and plans for release.

But wow, this looks great. If it’s as smooth and reliable as the demo suggests, then I’d definitely like one.

I haven't used/opened the frunk in months-why do I need it? Any function using App/gadget won't go too far.

I tried to get a group buy going (like they had for the S/3/X) but the vendor said they don’t have enough initial production capacity to meet demand.

I’m ordering two sets for our MY’s. I never use the frunk because I want my greasy mitts off the paint, haha!! This should solve that first-world problem, haha!!

I will say the vendor is super-responsive to email/WhatsApp.

There was a YouTube video comparing the Hansshow and Tesla Offer frunk openers. The nod went to Tesla Offer. My understanding is that Hasshow now has feature parity with TO, but I’m impressed with the comms I’m getting from TO, so I’m going with them.

I’ll post a thread when I’m done. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the car back together, haha!!
