I don't know if Tesla is going to do it or not, this is my first new car so I don't know what the process is and I'm also getting a custome number plate.

Do you already have a custom plate or you plan on getting one. If you already have it you need to let Tesla know in advance so they can have it on your registration docs. If you plan on getting one, Tesla will register you with a random plate and you’ll need to go to your provincial office when you get the plate to change it over.

Be aware that you can’t get custom green plates so you’ll need to choose green OR custom. Green plates let you drive solo in HOV lanes. Tesla will set you up with green plates by default.

Last week, my SA told me that I might get delivery on this Friday/Saturday at Lawrence, but still no txt/email to schedule the date yet.

Just an update for me. My DA got back to me today and I guess my car is already in Oakville so I am still on for Thursday 10am delivery. Super excited. As well my interest rate went down to 2.35% which is a nice little bonus.

Great news! So I guess yours must have been on an earlier shipment than the ones held up in Chicago earlier this week. Hope the delivery goes well!

Yes when I was initially approved in July it was 2.65 but when I was speaking to my DA today she mentioned she might be able to get my a lower rate and when I checked my account later the rate had been updated.

BTW, did you get your finance from Scotia Bank? RBC offered me 2.8%.

Ask them to try to get you 2.35% with Scotiabank. I was able to get this after mentioning to my SA. Picked up this Monday.
