Not sure why you would expect much more savings? The battery density isn't crazy different.Wonder when they will start updating specs for 4680s. Range, 0-60, etc. with 4680s I would sure hope it’s more than a 53lb weight savings.
more cargo too
It’s actually the Same cargo space, they just changed the method to measure it.more cargo too
Does that include the one foot roll out? It’s actually the Same cargo space, they just changed the method to measure it.

Why would there be two different weight adjustments for a part change shared between both MYP and MYLR?Can't be a battery change (4680's) just yet. Perhaps the global adoption of the megacasts in all the Y's?
Stiffer and stronger car due to the megacasts?
The range changed from 326 to 330 around November. It’s not a new change.Range increased by a whopping 4 miles as well.
This is just the 12V battery, I expect 300-500 lbs off on 4680 structural cars.Could this be for the car currently being sold? The lithium battery must save a few pounds.
Headlights are still different if you look closely on the config screen at the vehicle image when toggling between LR and PHeadlights look the same on the spec sheet between MYP and MYLR. Wonder if that means MYLR is getting matrix headlights soon.
Yes in the configurator they are still different, I was just referring to the spec page toggling between LR and P.Headlights are still different if you look closely on the config screen at the vehicle image when toggling between LR and P
It can't be solely based off a single shared part between the MYLR and MYP. Does not pass a simple deductive reasoning sanity check. This is just the 12V battery, I expect 300-500 lbs off on 4680 structural cars.
Did it ever change prior? Spec page makes no mention of headlights so I suspect there is still a differenceYes in the configurator they are still different, I was just referring to the spec page toggling between LR and P.
There are other differences, point is it is not a structural pack. They also pulled some redundant ECU's off cars to save chips, etc.It can't be solely based off a single shared part between the MYLR and MYP. Does not pass a simple deductive reasoning sanity check.
