What with Thorpe Park being a collection site I’m hoping they’re getting ready to receive a large delivery of Model Ys.

Thorpe Park will not be a collection site from now on as it's reopening soon. Collection in the South will be from Southamption. There will only be 6 locations in the UK where the MY can be collected from, at least until the initial surge is over.

Y test drive booked for Cardiff in a couple of weeks. Really interested to see if the Y is a harsher / noisier ride than my 2019 Model 3 Long Range (18 inch Aeros). If it is, for all the practicality benefits, it would be an instant no from me.

Harsher, no.. about the same. If you're used to the 3 the Y won't come as a surprise.
