I saw a previous post about oil change，Thought I should share some picture with you guys。didn’t intend to document the oil change so all I have is too shitty pictures。

when to replace it：
your Screen will show a fob say songthing like“gear Reduction box oil is low，Please make appointment with Service center”

how to Replace it：
unscrew the oil pump，oil pump is hold by Special screw，you can Unscrew it by clamps。

replace old oil fliter


put new oil in oil Service port which is Locate above oil fliter（we use bmw 8 gear zf gearbox oil）。

you do not need a tesla toolbox Two performance this service。

Yeah that's what I thought. So did the OP make a good decision in doing a DIY oil change that's not necessary...ever?
